The Monts d'Or trail, about 30 kilometres long, is ideal for discovering the region. The departure is from the school's car park in Saint-Fortunat, in the village of Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or. Many buses connect the villages of the Monts d'Or and take you to downtown Lyon. Each village is served by a specific bus. We recommend that you download the Moovit application to find the bus that will take you as close as possible to the city center of Lyon.

The villages of Couzon-au-Mont-d'Or and Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or have a train station that will facilitate your journeys to Lyon Perrache station.

You can also choose to rent a car to get to Lyon. Two car rental agencies are located in Champagne-au-Mont-d’Or ; Rentiz and Ada. Remember to book in advance! The private car rental platform called "Drivee" can also be very useful if you do not find a car close to your holiday rental in Lyon.

How to get to les Monts d'Or from the city centre of Lyon?

If you arrive by train from Part-Dieu Station, take the C6 bus towards Ecully Perollier. Then, once you arrive in Ecully, take a bus that will differ depending on the town you are travelling to. The Moovit application will be useful to know the schedules and buses from Ecully.

If you arrive from Perrache station, you can go directly to Vaise station by train. You will then find buses to your village in the Monts d'Or.

Finally, you can also rent a car in the agencies near Part-Dieu and Perrache train stations. In Part-Dieu station, you will find the AVIS car rental agency in the rue de la Villette.
