Guidel is a seaside resort popular with surfers and kitesurfers as well as nature lovers who enjoy hiking. You can also follow the marked trail running along the Läita to visit Abbaye Saint-Maurice, the Guidel forest and the Loch bird sanctuary which obtained Natura 2000 classification for Special Protection Areas. You may catch sight of a grey heron or one of the many egrets along the trail. Feel free to kayak or paddle back to the Guidel port, it's worth the detour!
