The church in Locmaria Belle Ile en Mer - Bretagne sud
The Roman Church of Notre-Dame in Locmaria is the oldest religious building in Belle-Ile.
In the past, many pilgrims came to thanks "Notre-Dame de Bois Tors" (Our Lady of twisted Wood) - Dutch pirates cut down a tree in front of the church to replace their broken mast. Notre-Dame deformed the trunk which then became unusable.
