The ruins of the Figuier are located downtown Saint-Pierre, below the mitary battery of Esnotz. Before the eruption of the volcano in 1902, these ruins were inhabited by servicemen. Today, the ruins allow to remember the tragic story of the city and givea a soul to the city.
