What to do in Terres Basses in Saint Martin?

The Terres Basses are framed by three superb beaches all accessible from private residences (access possible from outside during the day). The first one is the Baie Rouge. This beach offers an idyllic setting with its transparent waters. An ideal spot for snorkeling. It is possible to rent deckchairs and umbrellas and to have lunch in a beach restaurant offering delicious local cuisine (Chez Raymond). The second beach is Baie aux Prunes. More difficult to find, this beach is located between Canonnier Point and Plum Point and is not very frequented. You will not find any deckchair rental service or restaurants, so are advised to bring a picnic. Finally, Long Bay is also a great beach in Saint Martin. There is no shade on this beach and some rocks may hinder the quality of the bathing, but the setting sun is heavenly! David’s Hole (a natural swimming pool on the seaside) is also a sight not to be missed.
