A lighthouse dominates, "Beg er Pollen" (tip of the rocks isolated in Breton), one of the most beautiful sites of the island.
Falling under the charm of the place, the actress Sarah Bernhardt in 1894 acquires the fort and stays there during the last thirty summers of her life, surrounded by her family and friends. She had the villa of the "Five Parts of the World" and the villa "Lysiane" built for them.
The Sarah Bernhardt Fort and Space invite you to return to the past with an audio-guided visit of approximately one hour (paying). The life and work of the famous tragedienne are traced in the villa.

The Pointe des Poulains site has been owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral since 2000.
A coastal walk brings you from the port of Sauzon to Pointe des Poulains. For joggers, the loop is 10km on a coastal terrain.
