Numerous spots such as Cap Est or Pointe Faula benefit from ideal sliding conditions. Martinique is also known for its surf spots. Since 2015, Martinique welcomes, in April, one of the WSL round, the Martinique Surf Pro in Basse Pointe. Diving enthusiasts will be delighted by the exceptional sea life of the island and the diversity of flowers. Many diving clubs offer excursions for all levels – from beginners to experts. Canyoning, golf, horseback riding, jet skiing... and many other activities can also be scheduled to rhythm your holidays in Martinique!

Creole gastronomy

Tropical fruits, chicken colombo, accras (fritters), coco custard tart, sorbets ... the Caribbean cuisine will seduce you with its diversity. Many itinerant salesmen alongside offer sugarcane juice, fresh fish, smoked chicken. Treat yourself to these take away local dishes. And what would be Martinique without rum?! Martinique is the only place in the world to produce AOC (protected designation of origin) rum! Take time to visit at least one distillery to discover the world of rum!
