The Northern Caribbean coast offers a wide array of amazing pink sand beaches, which is a common feature in this part of Guadeloupe. You'll be sure to enjoy lying on the warm sands of Anse Nogent, Cluny Beach, Grande Anse or Anse de la Perle. There are so many relaxing things to choose from—tanning, napping under a palm tree, taking a refreshing dip, sipping a pina colada—100% relaxation guaranteed!
Just opposite Sainte-Rose, there's a number of islets, including îlet Caret, featuring white sand and transparent water. Local fishermen can ferry you over so you can spend the day on these little pieces of heaven.
There's also quite a few things to discover on land: hiking trails, rivers, hot springs, etc. Be sure to visit the baths at Sofaïa whose waters have healing properties. You could also bathe in the waters at Saut des Trois Cornes after a short walk through the forest. Mountain biking and horseback riding are also possible in different locations. There's just something to do for everyone. For those wanting to do some sightseeing, the Museum of Rum and its amazing insect gallery and the Distillerie de Séverin would be the perfect program for a day of discovery for both young and old.
